Pure Hoodia Gordonii

What is Hoodia?

Hoodia is a plant grown naturally in the Namib Desert and South Africa. It is often called the African Hoodia cactus, even though it is not a cactus. There are 13 different types of Hoodia all together, but Hoodia Gordonii is the type which is currently mostly sought out for it’s weight loss qualities. Hoodia Gordonii is a leafless, cactus-like plant that grows to about 3 feet high, and usually will have flowers that can grow to a rather decent size and have a potent smell.

What is pure Hoodia Gordonii used for?

People native to the areas where Hoodia Gordonii is grown, have used it for a long time to help them with treating minor infections and heartburn; however, Hoodia has also been used by these people as an appetite suppressor to help them on long trips. Hoodia Gordonii actually consists of steroidal glycoside molecules which are up to 10,000 times stronger than glucose, which is what triggers nerve cells in your brain telling you that you are full. Because of this, the Hoodia diet is fast becoming one of the most popular weight-loss plans available today.

What are the Hoodia Gordonii side effects, if any?

Even though pure Hoodia Gordonii has been used by local bushmen for thousands of years, there are still no found side effects that might be unwanted results of using it. Plainly speaking, there have not been any side effects found from the use of Hoodia Gordonii.

Should I use Hoodia Gordonii for weight loss?

If you are considering purchasing some Hoodia diet pills for your own uses, I recommend going through a company that combines the uses of Hoodia along with other herbal supplements for added benefits. Combining things like pure Hoodia Gordonii and Green Tea have a multiplying effect on helping people to lose weight, meaning that the combination of the two is a much better weight-loss supplement that just one or the other.
